An anniversary date is the biweekly pay period
in which an employee is eligible, if warranted by performance and
place in the salary range, for a salary increase. Anniversary dates
may change due to advancement or promotion, leave without pay and
movement from 12 to 10 month or vice versa.
An increment is the advancement from current salary
step to the next higher step within the same salary range. Salary
increments are usually applied once per year up to step 8, if warranted
by performance. Step increments beyond step 8 require a longer waiting
period to reach the maximum of the salary range. Increments are
applied within the pay period of the anniversary date.
The anniversary date for Higher Education
Managers is July 1
