Caring For An Aging Loved One and Yourself

Presented by Daphne Joslin Ph.D, M.P.H.

Are you providing help to an older relative? You are not alone, although it may feel that way at times, as the pressures, demands and questions can seem overwhelming. This workshop will give caregivers an opportunity to learn about community resources, to discuss common feelings about the caregiving role, and to identify ways to take care of oneself.

The Balancing Act: Eat Well and Move it!

Presented by St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital Clinical Nutrition Manager, Pat Ortlieb, RD, CDE

Americans are working longer hours, not to mention busy family schedules leaving little or no time to eat healthy or cook meals at home. Most busy Americans turn to take-out for quick solutions. Today, restaurants offer conveniences like drive-thru, delivery and online ordering making it easier to make wrong food choices. This workshop will give you tips on how small changes in your lifestyle can build up to a lifetime of healthy habits.
