Course Descriptions
Publisher I
This half-day workshop teaches the basics of Publisher 2003. Whether you have been using Publisher or are just beginning, this is where you need to start. Get in touch with your creative side. Discover the ease of creating business cards, flyers, announcements, stationery, etc. using MS Publisher. We will begin by using templates for the initial creation of your project. Then we will expand on this by selecting different layout options, working with layout guides, and using baseline alignment. Work with text boxes plus so much more. (This class is a prerequisite for MS Publisher Two.)
Publisher II
This is a continuation of MS Publisher One. Let us further intrigue you with the creation of brochures, using picture boxes, merging pictures and text from other software, the use of color separation, building a Web Page, advanced page layout options, layering boxes, grouping items, and using alignment features, etc. After both levels, we hope to help you discover the inner designer in you.
