The Counseling Center - General Information

The Counseling Center offers individual and group counseling services to all undergraduate and graduate students at William Paterson University. Counseling can help with personal problems that are interfering with academic performance or enjoying life to its fullest potential.

Typical problems seen at the Counseling Center are:

• Time management issues
• Issue with self-esteem / self-doubt
• Difficulties with friends or family
• Unhappiness and Depression
• Anxiety
• Harmful habits
• Eating-related problems
• Assertiveness and conflict resolution
• Anger management
• Communication in relationships
