Requesting Changes/Additions in Equipment

 

New Installation/Move/Equipment Change:

Fill out a Telecommunications work order form. It can be filled out and e-mailed to telecom@wpunj.edu directly from the chair / director or faxed with a signature to the Telecommunications department at extension 3598. Please try to send the work order form at least 2 weeks in advance when requesting moves of phones or new additions. For additional phone service (new lines, upgrade of phone, etc...) for your department, work does not proceed until a signed Cost Estimate Form, sent by Telecom after the work order form is received, is returned by your department. Then allow up to 2 weeks for the work to be processed and completed.

All Telecommunications Work Order Forms can be filled out and e-mailed to telecom@wpunj.edu directly from the chair / director or faxed with a signature to the Telecommunications department at extension 3598.

Disconnect/Re-Activate Service/Feature Change:

Fill out a Telecommunications Work Order Form specifying which type of request and any pertinent information needed. For a feature change, please specify which feature you would like to have put on or taken off your phone.

Directory Update:

If there is a change in name, number, location or new personnel in your department, please write it on a Telecommunications Work Order Form under Directory Update. Please specify both "from" and "to" on the form.
